Love at first sight was the reason why Mei-Ling came to St. Louis for school. Blessed with opportunities to become connected with people in the community, she continues to stay in St. Louis after graduation. As a social worker by trade, and a community organizer by choice, Mei-Ling enjoys working with people from all walks of life.
After working with at-risk high school students for more than 10 years, Mei-Ling joined Saint Louis University in the Division of Enrollment and Retention Management. Her involvement at SLU provides her with opportunities to work with people from different parts of the world.
Inspired by Dr. States’ vision for the Himalayan Healthcare Project, Mei-Ling hopes to do what she could to support Dr. State’s work in Nepal.
